Synopsis
In Manitou Springs, the Appleton family — Mother, Father, son Brad, daughter Eve, youngest daughter Lilly, and her bestfriend Sol — explore charming shops. Eve catches the eye of Chef Fontenblue, who secretly loves her.
Meanwhile, Lilly and Sol receive a foreboding fortune from an arcade's animatronic fortune-teller, prompting them to research ominous signs.
Desperate to win Eve’s heart, Chef Fontenblue meets the demon Stan, who gives him an enchanted recipe book for the Appleton family dinner. When the spell goes wrong, Brad’s friend Chad proposes to Eve. Chef, devastated, seeks revenge with the enchanted book. Lily and Sol sense the doom ahead and prepare for potential darkness and disaster.
On Eve’s wedding day, chaos erupts as cupcakes and The Cake Demon roar to life, leading to a series of monstrous attacks. Lilly teams up with wedding planner Michael to fight back, while Sol searches for a way to stop the demonic desserts.
In a final showdown, as The Cake Demon closes in on Lilly and Michael, Sol’s spells fail, but Lilly saves the day by throwing the cake topper, causing a supernatural explosion.
In the icing aftermath, Sol resurrects the dismembered Appleton family, leading to a heartwarming reunion.

Meet the Chefs
Elisa is the author of the comic book series When Baked Things Attack, For Eugenia and Stanley Kaiju and the Subterranean Bunny Defenders.

Daniel is a multi-media artist who has illustrated comic book favorites Sons of Sol, The Exquisite Vanishteer, Distortions Unlimited and many more.
​
They have team up to create the screenplay and "steer the Pot" of When Baked Things Attack as Director/Producers.
Production Team
The Largest Sound Stage in the Denver Metro Area, will provide location, camera, light and set equipment, etc, etc, etc
Production Company and CEO Jerry G Angelo, p.g.a., known for feature films Obscura, Coyote Cage, Artik and American Warfighter, will produce alongside the Chefs.
Provides Administrative and Operations Staff to assist in development and principle photography.
